Take a look at the Woodchester Mansion website www.woodchestermansion.org they run courses or call and ask to put your name down with them so they can call you and let you know about courses running. We are looking for a placement for some French stonemasons. They will be based in Hampshire. The work placements would be from 5th - 16th March (2 weeks) and are unpaid. The apprentices’ average age is 18, they are in the second year of a 3 year apprenticeship with "Les Compagnons du Devoir" and are very competent and proud of their chosen trade. All our young people will be accommodated full-board with Host Families in nearby locations, they will have full insurance cover from their association and are all certificated in 'Health & Safety' in the workplace. The group monitoring will be carried out by ourselves together with two tutors who will be here with the group throughout their three week stay. The first week will be dedicated to English lessons, preparation of placement, cultural & educational outings.
